American History Professor On Trump Presidency: Impeachment Very Likely, Mueller Knows More Than We Think

The investigation by Special Counsel Robert Mueller is supposedly coming to an end. The former director of the FBI was commissioned by the Department of Justice (then under the purview of former Attorney General Jeff Sessions) to investigate allegations that the Trump campaign for the 2016 presidential election colluded with Russian state actors in order to steal the White House for Donald Trump, and then subsequently committed obstruction of justice in an attempt to cover it up.

The probe has been going on for some time but recently it has intensified quite significantly. Major leaks have indicated that the big reveal of all of Mueller’s findings is now just around the corner. Big pro-Trump names like Roger Stone, Paul Manafort and Michael Cohen and dropping like flies left, right and center. The President surely knows that he does not have long left before the world knows what he did, and his panicking is getting even more deranged.

Even in the light of all that, the revelations from the inquiry will “shock the nation”. That’s according to Professior Allan Lichtman, who teaches History at American University. Not only is this guy very highly respected in this field, but he also has an astonishing track record of predictions on these things. He has correctly predicted every Presidential election result since 1984. He knows what he is talking about. And recently, he went on the Morning Joe show on MSNBC to argue that President Trump will be impeached sooner rather than later. He said:

“There’s as strong a case of obstruction of justice as there was against Bill Clinton on a vastly more important matter than a blue dress. It’s a conspiracy. I believe we have the tip of the iceberg of what the special counsel knows about the relationship between Trump and the Trump team and the Russians. There’s a fair chance that the reason they were covering up all of those calls from then to be national security adviser with the Russians was to cover up a possible quid pro quo, the Russians will help us and in turn we’ll ease those sanctions. Why else make those calls and why else lie about them? I think Mueller — and this is my prediction — is going to come up with findings that are going to shock the country, not only involve conspiracy with Russia but could involve serious financial crimes.”

This is about as bad a verdict as Trump could have possibly gotten.
