AWKWARD — Kellyanne Conway’s Husband Attacks Her Boss On Twitter

The husband of one of President Donald Trump’s most trusted and top advisers leveled heavy criticism toward the commander-in-chief on Twitter over the weekend, describing Trump as “witless…on virtually all topics.”

Trump, himself lambasting former President Barack Obama over a gaffe he made 10 years ago, tweeted on Friday that the media had let slide an embarrassing statement that his predecessor had made while on the campaign trail in 2008.

“When President Obama said that he has been to ’57 States,’ very little mention in Fake News Media,” Trump wrote. “Can you imagine if I said that…story of the year!”

In actuality, media did cover the mistake, including Reuters, the Los Angeles Times, Politico, and more. Obama himself recognized the mistake and was embarrassed over it shortly after making it.

George Conway, who is the husband to Counselor to the President of the United States Kellyanne Conway, likely made things awkward between his spouse and Trump with a tweet in response to the chief executive’s banter.

“Needless to say, there’s a huge difference between an isolated slip of the tongue and ceaseless, shameless, and witless prevarication on virtually all topics, large and small,” Conway wrote.

George and Kellyanne Conway don’t see eye-to-eye on the president. Although both conservative in ideologies, the two part ways when it comes to Trump’s leadership, according to a report from the Washington Post. Oftentimes, the couple engages each other in passive aggressive behavior, it appears, when discussing the president in their own home.

Trump himself is ignoring a lot of history when it comes to Obama’s treatment by the media. Forgetting that the gaffe he cited over the weekend was indeed covered by the media, a plethora of other “controversies” also plagued the former president, including one instance in which he was chastised by conservatives for wearing a tan jacket.
