Bernie Sanders’ 2020 Fundraising Efforts Are Off To A Flying Start, Multiple Millions Earned In Mere Days

It is somewhat depressing that we are actually looking forward to the insanity of the presidential election cycle that is coming up next year but given the volatility and awful state of American politics at the moment, we are truly desperate for change. There have long been hopes that President Donald Trump might be impeached or forced out of office some other way, but as it stands, he is somehow still President of the United States and leader of the free world.

He still sits in the Oval Office and has the power to actually make policies out of his regressive prejudiced worldview. And it seems like the best tool we have for putting a stop to that might simply be to get behind a solid Democratic candidate for President of the United States and keep our fingers tightly crossed that enough of those Trump voters from 2016 will now have seen their error and finally be willing to return to rational, sensible politics.

The first thing we need to do in order to make that possible of course, is to select an excellent candidate in the primaries. There are already a whole host of potentials who have put their names forward, even though we are still the start of 2018, so a very, very long way away from actually voting for our next President. There are also several who have not put themselves forward, but are being suggested by many in the media as excellent options. The biggest names that have been swirling around in the media so far include Elizabeth Warren, Tulsi Gabbard, Joe Biden, Beto O’Rourke, Stacey Abrams, Kamala Harris, Corey Booker and Bernie Sanders.

Bernie Sanders would be an excellent choice for the Democratic nomination for the White House next year. He has a strong track record of voting the right way, he is an ideological socialist and he would not bat an eyelid while undoing all the terrible policy decisions that we have seen under the administration of President Donald Trump. The issue for him is that he does not have the campaigning machinery and mass establishment backing of many of his rivals, so much of his campaign relies on grassroots fundraising and small donations from ordinary voters and people.

However, judging by the most recent news, that might even give him an advantage. It has been revealed that he has already raised nearly $6 million, and the campaign has barely gotten started.

Will you be supporting him for his 2020 run?
