Book Author To Trump: You Are The Least Credible Person Who Has Every Walked The Earth

Michael Wolff, an American journalist who has written for Vanity Fair and New York Magazine, has gathered national attention over his not-yet-released book Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House. After conducting more than 200 interviews, the book promises an explosive look into the President’s first 18 months in office. While the White House’s official position is that the book is full of lies, Wolff sees his work differently.

While Trump said on Twitter Thursday that he gave Wolff no access to the White House, during an interview with Today, Wolff countered that he absolutely interviewed the President. Although, whether or not Trump knew it was an interview is anybody’s guess.

“Whether he realized it was an interview or not, I don’t know, but it certainly was not off the record,” said Wolff. “I spoke to him after the inauguration, yes. And I had spoken to, I mean I spent about three hours with the president over the course of the campaign and in the White House, so my window into Donald Trump is pretty significant.”

Wolff also called out the President for having less credibility than, perhaps, anyone who has ever walked on earth,” and discussed the overall opinion on Trump’s office behavior.

“My credibility is being questioned by a man who has less credibility than, perhaps, anyone who has ever walked on earth at this point,” said Wolff. “I will tell you the one description that everyone gave, everyone has in common: They all say he is like a child. And what they mean by that is, he has a need for immediate gratification. It is all about him.”

While Wolff has been suspected to not be the most credible of reporters – there were questions regarding his interviews for his 1998 book Burn Rate – I would argue that the vast majority of everyone else in the nation is more credible than President Trump, and until we have reason to believe he did not have the access to Trump and his associates as he claims, I’ll at least listen to the contents of the book. Everyone has their own side of a story, and this is Wolff’s side to the interworkings of the White House.
