CNN Host Anderson Cooper Just Lashed Out And Called BS On Jeff Sessions And His Lies

Attorney General Jeff Sessions seemed to recall a hazy memory during a House judiciary hearing. Senator Al Franken questioned Sessions, “You don’t believe that surrogates from the campaign didn’t have communication with Russians?”

To which Sessions responded with, “I am not and I am not aware of anyone that did.”

Cooper was quick to call bullshit. “That turned out to be false. There was a meeting on March 31st when George Papadopoulos mentioned ongoing conversations with people linked to Russia. And guess who attended that meeting? Sessions.

When asked why didn’t he mention it in his answers, Sessions said, “I’d like to address meetings attended by George and Carter Page among others. Frankly, I had no recollection.

Cooper then used this time to display flashbacks of multiple times when Sessions said he couldn’t recall items. Which begs the question if his memory is so bad, why is he the Attorney General?

Cooper went on to explain that while Sessions seems to have a poor memory, it doesn’t extend to everything. Sessions stated, “I do now recall the March 2016 meeting, at the Trump hotel that George attended. I have no clear details of what he said during the meeting. After reading his account and to the best of my recollection, I believe I wanted to make clear to him that he was not authorized to represent the campaign with the Russians or any other foreign country for that matter.

So, what are we to believe here, that Sessions can only remember certain details of meetings when it’s been “revealed in the press,” that he uses the “I cannot recall” response for all things he doesn’t want to talk about, or he simply has a poor memory?
