House Democrats Are Launching A Big Push To Get The Whole Mueller Report Published

Hearts sank across America when news outlets started to report that Attorney General Bill Barr‘s summary of the report put together by Special Counsel Robert Mueller and his team did not appear to contain any evidence of collusion with Russian state actors. The very same news outlets that President Donald Trump has spent the last two and a bit years decrying as Fake News Media and the True Enemy of the People were suddenly lauded by the White House because they were reporting that the scandal of the 2016 campaign to elect Republican candidate Donald Trump had ended in an “exoneration”. It looked like we were going to be stuck with this man as our President of the United States and leader of the free world for a long time yet.

However, it was not long before people started to smell a rat. After some investigative journalism was done by various organizations, it soon became very clear that the Attorney General had taken several steps to ensure that the true conclusions of the Mueller report never left his grasp and certainly never saw the light of day, such as skirting the rules in the putting together of his summary of the findings, and even refusing to include a single quote from the Special Counsel in the document that would be sent to Congress. The most important thing he is doing, though, is making sure that the Mueller report will never be published, so that we can never learn the truth about what Robert Mueller really found during his investigation.

The House Democrats are not going to put up with that, and they are doing everything within their power to force Barr’s hand into publishing the report in full. House Judiciary Chairman Rep. Jerry Nadler issued the following ruthless statement outling the intentions of him and his colleagues in this area:

“We have reason to suspect [the Trump administration’s] motives… The Mueller report probably isn’t the ‘total exoneration’ the President claims it to be. And, in any event, this Committee has a job to do. The Constitution charges Congress with holding the President accountable for alleged official misconduct. That job requires us to evaluate the evidence for ourselves — not the Attorney General’s summary, not a substantially redacted synopsis, but the full report and the underlying evidence.”

It seems to me that it is only a matter of time before this gets published. But it better come sooner rather than later. America cannot take much more of President Trump.
