Law Students Have Found A Way To Remove Trump Directly From Office Without Impeaching Him

There has been a huge amount of buzz in Washington and across America (and indeed all around the world) ever since the Democrats managed to bypass Republican attempts at electoral fraud and ballot box rigging to win the midterm elections in November of last year. That means that they have retaken control of the House of Representatives, which puts them in a great position to finally do something about President Donald Trump. The man who resides in the White House and is our elected President of the United States and effective leader of the free world is basically begging to be removed at this point.

However, sadly, as with everything in the world of American politics, it is not as simple as it seems. Timing and the complex and hidden political workings behind impeachment bills mean that, simply, it is an extremely difficult thing to actually accomplish. And if the House Democrats fail, their reputation in the public and political eye would be totally shot. That is why they have decided that their best bet is to wait for the report to finally be published from the investigation by Special Counsel Robert Mueller before actually making any irreversible moves. The problem with that is that it seems to be taking forever to actually make its way to the White House, and in the mean time, President Trump is continuing to wreak havoc on our beautiful country.

Now, though, there might be a solution to all this, and it has emerged from a very unlikely source. A pair of Yale Law students by the names of Samuel Breidbart and Vinay Nayak have written a pivotal article for Time magazine in which they outline a technicality in the text of the Constitution which might actually make it possible to remove Trump from office without needing to go through the motions with an impeachment bill at all. The key part of the Constitution, found in Section 4, reads as follows:

Whenever the Vice President and a majority of either the principal officers of the executive departments or of such other body as Congress may by law provide, transmit to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives their written declaration that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, the Vice President shall immediately assume the powers and duties of the office as Acting President.

Basically, this means that Congress can make its own judgement about whether Trump is fit for office or not, and then act accordingly. If this turns out to be correct, it could be massive in American history and very big for our progress as a nation.

Do you think this is a feasible solution? Let us hear it!
