Lindsey Graham Abandons His Friend In Sickening Display Of Total Trump Loyalty

President Donald Trump is clearly someone who does not have many boundaries when it comes to saying inappropriate things. Evidently, he cares so little about what people think of him (because he knows his immense wealth and his power through the right wing establishment will keep him safe and get him basically anything he wants anyway) that he is willing to say absolutely anything. That, you might argue, is what got him elected as President of the United States and leader of the free world – his ridiculous statements on the campaign trail about Muslims and Mexicans, for example, are what projected him into the public eye to begin with.

However, he has not stopped doing that since he entered the Oval Office. Perhaps one of the most shocking examples concerns the late Sen. John McCain of Arizona. As we all know by now, despite being a senior member of the GOP, McCain became something of a Trump critic by the end of his life, to which Trump has responded by insulting him horrendously, even now he has passed away. What is most breath taking about this, though, is the tribal loyalty displayed by some Republicans to the Trump personality cult leading them to just parrot whatever he says, even when it is this vile. Take, for example, Sen. Lindsey Graham:

On the same day Sen. Johnny Isakson (R-GA) blasted President Donald Trump for “deplorable” attacks on his late colleague, Sen. John McCain (R-AZ), Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) also unleashed an attack — on people criticizing Trump. Days after attacking McCain, who died last August, for not voting for his TrumpCare legislation to take health insurance coverage away from 16 million people, Trump continued to go after him on Wednesday. In an official presidential speech in Ohio, Trump complained that McCain “didn’t get the job done” for veterans and noted that he had not been thanked for letting his former rival have the funeral he’d requested before his death.

Graham was famously a close friend of McCain’s. The two — with former Sen. Joe Lieberman (I-CT) — called themselves “the Three Amigos,” a nickname reportedly bestowed upon them by former CIA director David Petraeus. But while he said he disagreed with the president’s comments and believed they hurt Trump more than McCain, Graham seemed more upset with the people who are objecting to the attacks. In video posted by Graham’s communications director, Graham said: “A lot of people are coming to John’s defense now that called him crazy and a warmonger. So it’s kinda interesting to see the politics of how this dispute’s being used to bash Trump by people who were against both Trump and McCain.”

This is just shocking. You can watch the awful clip below.
