Sarah Huckabee Sanders Has Been Interviewed By Robert Mueller, She’s Next On His List

Special Counsel Robert Mueller is slowly working his way through President Donald Trump‘s core team and taking down the big names one by one. It seems like an age ago that the former Director of the FBI was commissioned by the Justice Department to set up a probe to investigate whether or not the 2016 campaign to elect Republican nominee Donald Trump to the White House during the presidential election of 2016 colluded with Russian state actors in order to steal the White House from Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton and then committed obstruction of justice afterwards in a desperate attempt to cover it up.

As it consistent with his character, the man who is inexlicably still the President of the United States and leader of the free world has expressed his discontent with what Mueller is doing through aggressive tweets which often brand the team behind the probe Full Of Dems and call the investigation a Witch Hunt. Nonetheless, Mueller has plowed his way through the key Trump team totally undeterred.

The big names that have fallen so far include Paul Manafort, who was chair of that very campaign to elect Trump back in 2016; Michael Cohen, Trump’s former lawyer who has been found guilty of lying to investigators; Michael Flynn, a former National Security Adviser and close aide to the President; and Roger Stone, the enigmatic close adviser to Trump and several other key GOP figures. Now, recent reports suggest that the next name on Mueller’s hit list might be an even bigger one, especially as the person in question is still actively serving in a senior role in the Trump White House: Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders.

It has been reported that Sanders has essentially admitted that she has been interviewed by Mueller already, suggesting that the probe team is starting to build up a case against her as we speak. She said to CNN:

“The President urged me, like he has everyone in the administration, to fully cooperate with the special counsel. I was happy to voluntarily sit down with them.”

This is big. The fact that Sanders has gone so far as to state outright that she is cooperating with the inquiry whilst also continuing to serve as the face of President Trump’s White House in that senior position is quite extraordinary. Perhaps she will provide the key for Mueller’s investigations; or maybe, she will ultimately refuse to give up the key information and cause yet more fireworks.
