Trump Blindsided Again By Another Two Senior Officials Handing Over Resignation Letters

President Donald Trump has an extraordinary talent for making people hate him. I am talking specifically about the people who work with him, who we might expect to be his biggest fans since they have chosen to dedicate their lives to serving in his administration. However, it is perfectly obvious to see that the man who is somehow still our President of the United States and leader of the free world and loves to boast about being the best deal maker the world has ever seen is apparently totally incapable of keeping a team together. The shear number of resignations and firings that have greeted the Trump White House and the executive branch of the government since he took up that high office two and a bit years ago is almost unprecedented.

Very recently, yet another very high profile figure bailed on Trump. Secretary for Homeland Security Kirstjen Nielsen, who was personally responsible for separating immigrant families and detaining those vulernable children inside cages in government facilities, had decided that Trump was becoming “increasingly deranged” and that she could no longer work alongside him in good conscience. To make a bad week much, much worse for the President nad his cronies, it seems that not one but two more very senior officials are now on their way out, according to recent reports.

USSS Director Randolph Alles [the director of the US Secret Service], a retired Marine Corps major general who was appointed two years ago, is on his way out the door just the day after the head of the Department of Homeland Security, Kirstjen Nielsen, resigned under pressure on Sunday night. Alles reported to her. White House press secretary Sarah Sanders said in a statement that President Donald Trump “has selected James M. Murray, a career member of the USSS, to take over as director beginning in May.”

That’s right. Incredibly, it only took two days after Nielsen left for everything in that wing of the government to start falling apart in the most public and humiliating way possible. An official later told the press that Alles’ resignation was “not based on any single event”, which just confirms what Nielsen had said earlier in her resignation statement, which is that Trump is quite literally the worst boss imaginable. If even these hardcore, lifelong Republicans are no longer able to cope with the stances that Trump is taking, when placed in the context of the real world, it should come as no surprise that he seems as outlandish as he does.
