Trump’s Faith Advisor Paula White Just Blindsided Him With News He Never Saw Coming

Looks like it’s not just the GOP that’s abandoning Trump left and right; it goes way deeper than that.

During the presidential election where Donald Trump defeated Hillary Clinton (still hate saying that), Trump got a big boost from the south. I mean, is that any surprise? He wont every single flyover state because the majority of them thought Trump would bring them a pot of gold personally, or something. That’s my only conclusion as to why anyone would have voted for the bigot. Either way, they did and now he’s in power and that sucks. But the red states are key to this story.

Where Trump won big was with Evangelicals and conservative Christians. This is the majority, overall religion in the south. Christians, specifically the diehards, went nuts over Trump. And even though Hillary won the popular vote, Trump won the Electoral College thanks in big part to the Christians. One of Trump’s biggest supporters, and spiritual adviser, Paula White was very vocal about Trump during the election and stuck behind him despite all the critics.

But now, it seems like White is backtracking and attempting to distance herself from Trump and his rhetoric. She recently said that she “wish she didn’t say what she did.”

White went on record saying that “God lifted Trump to the presidency” back in November. When asked about Trump on the Jim Bakker show, White said she got a little “fired up” when she said that God “lifted up” Trump in his 2016 election victory. “I’m a preacher, and I got a little fired up, and I said some things invariably I wish I would not have said. Some things that could most definitely and have been taken out of context.” She’s backtracking on those words now. Not good for Trump when your closest spiritual advisor says she wants to take it all back. Yikes. Telling. Very telling.

“Do I believe that God raises up authority, do I believe that he sets one up and pulls one down? When I read from Genesis to Revelation, I do believe that,” she said. But adding insult to injury, she said that the same thing would have happened if Hillary would have won. “So I don’t believe that just for President Trump, I believe that for President Obama. I believe that, had Hillary been in, yes, I believe that authority is raised up by God.”

White also talked about remarks she made about Trump opposers, saying , “those who opposed Trump were fighting against the hand of God.”

“I was talking about the different kinds of prayer. In life, even in our own personal life, we find our self at times fighting against the hand of God. And I believe that. In other words, we can be a rebellious and stubborn people, individually, nationally or corporately. So in context, the headlines were quite different than what was really being said.” Yea right. Trump is losing support and you don’t want to be associated with him anymore. That’s what I’m reading from this situation.

I don’t think White really has any idea what she’s talking about, much like Trump and his entire administration. But we can discern a lot from this. When a trusted spiritual advisor, one who is huge in the Evangelical community, wants to clarify comments she made about you 9 months ago, and given recent events, that should tell you all you need to know.

They’re all abandoning Trump, and he’ll soon have no one left.
